2, 8-ounce blocks of cream cheese, softened
2 tbsp Worcestershire
1 tsp lemon zest
1 tsp garlic powder
1 tsp onion powder
salt and pepper to taste
2 cups finely grated shredded cheddar
Using a mixer, combine the cream cheese, Worcestershire sauce, lemon zest, garlic powder, onion powder and salt and pepper to taste. Refrigerate the mixture for 1 hour. Form it into a ball (golf ball size). Refrigerate for another hour. Before serving, roll each ball of cheese into the finely shredded cheddar cheese to cover. Place each ball on a round cracker. Cut pie-shaped wedges from carrot slices for beaks and feet and press on. Add black peppercorns for eyes.
