8 russet potatoes, peeled and cubed
1 8-ounce pack cream cheese
1 8-ounce container sour cream
1/2 cup butter
tsp salt
tsp black pepper
tsp garlic powder
1/4 cup chopped fresh chives
1 envelope real bacon bits
paprika to taste
Soften potatoes in boiling water and drain them. Into hot potatoes add butter, cream cheese, sour cream, salt, pepper, garlic powder and chives. Mash until creamy. Spoon into casserole dish, sprinkle bacon bits and paprika on them. Bake 20-30 minutes at 350 degrees.
