1 tbsp olive oil
1 lb large shrimp, peeled and deveined
8 oz smoke sausage, cut into 1/4 inch slices
2 cups broccoli florets
4 cloves minced garlic
1/4 cup honey
1/4 cup low sodium soy sauce
1 tbsp lemon juice
salt and pepper to taste
thinly sliced green onions for garnish

For the sauce: In a small bowl, whisk together honey, soy sauce, garlic and lemon juice. Set aside. In large skillet, heat oil over medium-high heat, add sausage and cook, stirring occasionally until browned. Remove from skillet. In the same skillet add shrimp and cook 2-3 minutes per side until getting slightly browned around edges. Remove shrimp and add to sausage. Add broccoli to the skillet and saute for about 5 minutes. You want them tender-crisp. Return shrimp and sausage to skillet. Pour the sauce mixture over the meat and broccoli, toss well to coat. Simmer 3-4 minutes until the sauce thickens a little. Serve over rice and garnish with green onions.
