“Easy Barbecued Chicken for the Working Lady Who Hates to be Confined to the Kitchen”

This is a recipe from Dick Daniels’ personal recipe box and was made by my Mom.
Please check out my notes below the recipe.

1 whole chicken, cut up
1/2 can beer
1 large onion, sliced
your favorite BBQ sauce

Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Line a baking pan with aluminum foil.  Spray with oil.  Place onion slices in single layer on the pan.  Pour beer over onions.  Place chicken pieces over the onions.  Spread good amount of bbq sauce over chicken. Bake one hour.  Let rest 10 minutes before serving.

My notes:

-Kroger did not have whole chicken already cut up.  I bought a whole chicken and cut it up myself.  I do not recommend…it is messy.  I suggest getting your favorite bone in chicken cuts and use that.

-Also, I sprinkled chicken with seasoned pepper and garlic salt before adding the bbq sauce.

Hope you will try this!
