Bacon-Cheese dip

4 slices bacon, cut into 2 inch pieces
2 T. flour
1 c milk
1 garlic clove, halved
8 oz Monterey Jack cheese, shredded
4 oz. cheddar cheese, shredded
1 tsp dry mustard
1/2 tsp Worcestershire sauce
Dash of hot pepper sauce
In medium bowl, cook bacon on high 3-4 minutes until crisp in microwave. Remove bacon crumble and set aside. Into drippings in bowl, stir flour; add milk and garlic; stir until smooth. Cook on high 3-4 minutes until thickened, stirring once. Discard garlic. Stir cheeses into milk mixture. Cook on medium power 4-6 minutes until smooth, stirring once. Stir in mustard, Worcestershire sauce, hot pepper sauce and bacon. Mixture will thicken as it stands. Makes 2 cups.
I hollow out a round loaf of Hawaiian Bread, cut pieces into cubes, toast cubes and pour cheese into bread bowl. The best part is eating the bread bowl when the cheese is gone. My family fights over this part. Use bread, chips or veggies for dipping.
