Community Spring Fling & Hotrod Show  11AM - 5PM    (Community)
Location: New River Valley Fairgrounds
There will be a FREE Community Spring Fling & Hot Rod Show at the New River Valley Fairgrounds in Dublin on Saturday, May 17th from 11AM – 5PM. Bring your family and enjoy a day filled with free food, games, prizes, moonwalks, Southern Gospel music & much, much more! You can enjoy free popcorn, cotton candy, snow cones & drinks (hot dogs from 11am – 1pm only). Bring your hotrod or your motorcycle! This community event is sponsored by Heritage Church. Location: Lynchburg
Wyndhurst, a new old town neighborhood, celebrates six years in Lynchburg with its community festival, Wyndfest. The annual festival will be held Saturday, May 17th from 10AM-6PM.
On tap this year are some old favorites, the Kiwanis Teddy Bear Parade which starts promptly at 10 AM, pony rides, inflatable jumpers and great performances by High Cotton, a strolling barbershop quartet, Dance Creations dance team and a Super Kicks Karate demonstration. New events to the festival are a state park and Krux Kickflip competition, sponsored by Scene 3 skate shop, a performance by the Nature Zone, illusionist Jonathon Phillips and an evening concert with The Good Kind and The House Band.
