An Evening With The Incomparable Jane L. Powell (Entertainment)

Location: The Regency Room at The Hotel Roanoke

Captivating audiences with her musical flexibility, playful personality and spontaneous sense of humor, Roanoke's very own renowned singer/songwriter Jane L. Powell returns home to The Regency Room on July 24, 2010 for Dinner, Dancing and a Show.Tickets for the event are $55 per person (plus tax and gratuity, based on availability), and include an evening of dancing and an elegant four-course dinner prepared by Chef Billie Raper and Chef Nazim Khan. The evening will begin at 6 p.m. The Hotel Roanoke is also offering an overnight package complete with deluxe accommodations, tickets to the show, dinner, and breakfast the next morning (based on availability, starting at $239).

Roanoke County Department of Parks, Recreation and Tourism presents our inaugural “Summer Stock Dinner Theatre” at Camp Roanoke and Valhalla Vineyards. We first bring to you one of Shakespeare's most famous and critically acclaimed works “A Midsummer’s Night Dream” Proudly presented on Saturday July 24 at Camp Roanoke, (6498 Dry Hollow Road, Salem, VA 24153). At both performances the show plus a catered meal will be available for $12 per person If you prefer admission to the show only is $5 and you may bring your own picnic dinner. Children under five years old are admitted free. Additionally beverages will be available for sale at Valhalla Vineyards.
