Q99 Live @ Dogtoberfest with Gwaltney

Joey Self will be at Saint Francis Service Dog Center on Enon Drive (8232 Enon Drive) in Roanoke on Saturday, October 4th from 9:30 AM to 12:00 PM for Dogtoberfest courtesy of Gwaltney. The Q99/Gwaltney Cafe will be set up all day from 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM. This festival features alot of fun and play for your dogs including a canine cake walk, flyball, doggy limbo, bobbin doggin pupsicles, Americanine Idol, doggy day spa, parade of dogs (1:00 PM), pawcasso doggone good diner, obstacle course, face painting, caricaturist, music, vendors and much more. Q99 Live @ Craftsmen's Classic Art & Craft Festival

Q99 & Q-Bear will be at the Roanoke Civic Center on Friday, October 11th from 9:30 AM to 12:30 PM to kick off the 2014 Craftsmen's Classic Art & Craft Festival. The Q99/Gwaltney Cafe' will be set up in front of the Civic Center so come by and spin the Q99 Prize Wheel. Admission is free with a food donation. All food donations go to the Feeding America Southwest Virginia Food Bank. The Craftsmen's Classic hours are Friday, October 10th 10:00 AM-8:00 PM, Saturday, October 11th 10:00AM-6:00 PM and Sunday, October 12th 11:00 AM-5:00 PM. This Show features original designs and work from hundreds of talented artists and craftspeople from across America. See the creative process in action as many exhibitors demonstrate throughout the weekend. There is something for every style, taste and budget with items from the most traditional to the most contemporary. This show is a winner of Sunshine Artist “100 Best” awards. Q99 Live @ Pumpkinfest


Dick, Dave and Q-Bear will host the 15th Annual Pumpkinfest on Saturday, October 25th at the Salem Farmer's Market in Salem from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM. There will be plenty of fun for the whole family including hayrides, a magician, Sand Art, inflatable rides, face painting, bake sale, carnival games, refreshments for a small donation, a live auction featuring Chefs VS Surgeons carved pumpkins and a Kid's costume contest sponsored by Salem VA Credit Union. Admission is $1.99 for adults and kid's in costume get in FREE. The first 1,000 kids will receive trick-or-treat bags filled with candy courtesy of Kroger. In addition, the first 199 kids will receive a free pumpkin compliments of Kroger. The Q99/Gwaltney Cafe will be set up serving Gwaltney hot dogs on Heiner's buns, Utz potato chips and Pepsi products for a small donation (Hot dog Combo for $1.50 or each item for $.50 a piece). Carnival games & rides will require a ticket and can be purchased at a minimal cost (1 for $.50 and 12 for $5.00). All proceeds will benefit the Special Olympics: Area 8.
