Vinton Christmas Parade

Q99 & Q-Bear will be in downtown Vinton on Thursday, December 4th for the 2014 Vinton Parade that starts at 7:00 PM. Look for the Q99 Cafe' and Q-Bear as they roll through the parade route in downtown Vinton. The Vinton Christmas Tree Lighting Ceremony will be at the Vinton Municipal Building on Pollard Street with many activities starting at 6PM.  At 7:00 pm, the parade starts on Gus Nick Blvd., winds thru town and finishes on Washington Ave at the Vinton War Memorial. There are usually 6-8 marching bands with as many as 70-80 entries of civic groups, churches, businesses featuring about 30 floats. After the parade, children and their families can enjoy a Holiday Open House at the Vinton War Memorial with entertainment and refreshments, A visit with Santa and children’s craft activities. So come out and celebrate the Christmas season with us Thursday, December 4th in Vinton. Salem Christmas Parade

 

 

Q99 & Q-Bear will be on Main Street in downtown Salem on Friday, December 5th for the 2014 Salem Christmas Parade that starts at 5:00 PM. Be sure to look for Q-Bear as he walks the parade route in front of the Q99 Van down Main Street. The Salem Christmas Tree Lighting Ceremony will be at the Salem Farmer's Market at 6:00 PM followed by the parade at 6:30 PM. Ye Olde Salem Christmas

Q99 will be on Main Street in Salem on Saturday, December 6th from 11:00 AM to 4:00 PM for Ye Olde Salem Christmas. Look for the Q99 Van set up near the Library and be sure and come by to see what we have for you. Ye Olde Salem Christmas will feature Christmas stories told by Mrs.Claus, Photos with Santa Claus, hot cider, lots of baked goods, hot cider and much more! So won't you join us on Saturday, December 6th from 11AM-4PM for Ye Olde Salem Christmas on Main Street in Salem

Lynchburg Christmas Parade

Q99 & Q-Bear will be in downtown Lynchburg on Sunday, December 7th for the 2014 Lynchburg Christmas Parade that starts at 5:00 PM. Dickens of a Christmas

The 2014 SunTrust Dickens of a Christmas continues in downtown Roanoke starting at 6:00 PM on Friday, December 12th. The main event is Haley Toyota's City of Roanoke's Christmas Parade starting at 6:30 PM. The parade route begins at the corner of Elm Avenue and Jefferson Street (Elmwood Park) and continues north on Jefferson Street to Campbell Avenue, then east on Campbell to Market Street. The Q99 Cafe' will be set up from 5:30-10:00 PM on Wall Street with Q-Bear. Come by and register to win a Christmas Feast that includes a mini-fridge stuffed with food. The festivities will continue into the night until 10PM including live stage and street performances! Roanoke Christmas Parade

 

Q99 & Q-Bear will be in downtown Roanoke on Friday, December 12th for the 2014 City of  Roanoke Christmas Parade presented by Haley Toyota that starts at 6:30 PM. Be sure to look for Q-Bear as he walks the parade route in front of the Q99 Van. The parade will start at the intersection of Elm Avenue and Jefferson Street and will travel the same route as previous years on Jefferson, then turning onto Campbell Avenue, past Market Square. After the parade, be sure and check out SunTrust Dickens of a Christmas in downtown Roanoke. Jingle Bell Walk/Run For Arthritis

 

Join David Page & Q-Bear in downtown Roanoke on Saturday, December 13th for the 2014 Jingle Bell Run/Walk. The Q99 Van will be set up in the parking lot at the corner of Church Avenue and Jefferson Street and register to win a Christmas Feast that includes a mini-fridge stuffed with food. The Run/Walk begins at 9:00 AM with registration starting at 7:30 AM. David Page will emcee the festivities and proceeds benefit the Arthritis Foundation. Dickens of a Christmas

The 2014 SunTrust Dickens of a Christmas continues in downtown Roanoke starting at 6:00 PM this Friday, December 19th. The main event is the SPCA's Pet Costume Contest starting at 6:30 PM in the Wells Fargo Plaza. Dick Daniels & David Page will host the Contest. All judging and awards  of prizes will occur on Salem Avenue. The Q99 Cafe' will be set up from 5:30-10:00 PM on Wall Street with Q-Bear. Come by and register to win a Christmas Feast that includes a mini-fridge stuffed with food. The festivities will continue into the night until 10PM including live stage and street performances!
