The 2012 Dickens of a Christmas continues in downtown Roanoke starting at 6:00 PM this Friday, December 21st. The main event is the SPCA's Pet Costume Contest starting at 6:30 PM. Dick Daniels & David Page will host the Contest. All judging and awards of prizes will occur on Salem Avenue. The Q99/Valleydale Cafe' will be set up from 5:30-10:00 PM on Wall Street with Q-Bear. Come by and register to win a Christmas Feast that includes a mini-fridge stuffed with food. The festivities will continue into the night until 10PM including live stage and street performances! Other activities taking place throughout the night in the Historic Market area include carriage rides, live carolers, a magician, a fire eater and sword swallower, photos with Santa, a living nativity scene, and more!
