Valley View Wesleyan Church is fundraising for a "Sharing Thanksgiving Pantry" to feed families in and around the Williamson Road community during the upcoming holiday.
Hali is fundraising for her newborn son, Miles, who is in treatment at Duke Medical Center for a hole in his heart and is preparing for upcoming surgeries.
Dennis has metastic melanoma and has recently underwent radiation causing several side effects. Funds will be used for Dennis' rehabilitation and care.
Every Friday, Garden City Elementary School prepares meals to send home with students who may not have meals or food to eat in their homes. Funds raised will help Garden City Elementary staff cover the costs of these meals - which may be the only thing children have for nourishment over the weekends.
