Philly Cheesesteak Sliders

2 rib eye steaks
2 tbsp. butter
2 bell peppers, diced
2 medium yellow onions, diced
1 can of Cheez Whiz
Slider buns
Salt and pepper, to taste

 

Place steak in freezer for 30 minutes so that the meat is easier to slice. Remove the meat from the freezer and slice very thinly. In a large saute pan, melt butter. Add in onions and peppers, and saute over medium heat until onions are translucent, about 7 minutes. Add meat to pan, and sauté on medium until only slightly pink, about another 7 minutes. Assemble the sliders: Fill each slider bun with some of the meat mixture. Top each with cheese. Serve warm.
