Beer and Bourbon BBQ Chicken Sliders

2 tablespoons olive oil
3 boneless skinless chicken breasts
salt and pepper to taste
12 ounces lager beer
2 tablespoons bourbon or whiskey
about 1 1/2 cups barbecue sauce
about 10 to 12 slider buns

DIRECTIONS:
heat oil in large skillet over medium high heat. season chicken with salt and pepper. sear chicken in hot pan…2-3 minutes per side until lightly browned, reduce heat to medium and slowly pour in beer then add bourbon. cook 20 minutes, turning occasionally. remove chicken, cool slightly. shred chicken w forks and place in mixing bowl. Add 1/2 cup of the leftover cooking liquid to chicken, mix well. stir in BBQ sauce. serve in slider buns
